“My Symbols” invites the Greek artists participating in the exhibition to reflect on the elements that shape their artistic voice. These may arise from family roots, cultural heritage, personal stories, or observations from everyday life. Materials, gestures, forms, and recurring images gradually acquire significance, becoming vessels of memory, meaning, and identity—elements that both connect and distinguish the creators.
The works highlight how such symbols develop through practice and experience, while remaining fluid and open to interpretation. Closely connected to the artist’s inner landscape and continually evolving over time, they become visual codes that also offer viewers an entry point into new and diverse ways of perceiving, processing, and understanding the world—both real and imaginary.
