Often associated with brilliance, glamour, or the gleam of precious stones, sparkle can also be subtle, conceptual, emotional, or metaphorical. In this exhibition “SPARKLE”, jewels have been selected from an international open call where artists have been encouraged to push beyond the obvious and investigate every possible resonance of the word, visible or invisible, literal or symbolic.
