#19, WORKSHOP WITH ANNA TALBOT & MAUD TRAON
JUNK JEWELLERY
SATURDAY JUNE 6th & SUNDAY JUNE 7th, 14-16h
MAISON COMMUNE, 12 rue Dr Michel Provencal, 08600 Cagnes-sur-Mer
Come join our workshop where we make jewellery from leftover materials, recycled secondhand jewellery pieces, plastic bits and pieces, fake flowers, sequins and glitter. We’ll take junk, cheap scraps and kitsch elements and create fun and wearable art! The workshop is open to all, no need for prior skills or to bring your own equipment. You can come spend ten minutes or two hours creating your very own unique piece of jewellery that you get to take home with you! The aim is to have fun, be creative and to make something from all the junk we surround ourselves with.
The workshop is held by Anna Talbot and Maud Traon. Anna Talbot is British/Norwegian jewellery artist based in Oslo, Norway. Talbot works with found objects, upcycled cookie boxes and non-precious materials in a colourful fairy tale world. Maud Traon is a French jewellery artist, based in London, UK. She works with non-precious stones, found materials and silver to create fantastical and adventurous jewellery pieces.
