Nichka Marobin is an Italian art historian specializing in Dutch and Flemish art history. She graduated at the Faculty of Letters of Padova (Italy)
In 2011 she founded “The Morning Bark”, a blogazette on arts and humanities, where she posts about arts with a multidisciplinary path, including fine arts, books, fashion, and contemporary jewellery.
In 2014 she started her project called “Les Métissages” developing the concept of migration of forms and ideas by juxtaposing contemporary jewellery and fashion creations to investigate the connections and correspondances between the forms in these two Art disciplines.
In 2015 she started her activity as an independent curator. Since 2015 she curated different exhibitions at JOYA BARCELONA (2015), at the Museu del Modernisme (2016), and at Hannah Gallery Barcelona (2017-2019-2022), always in Barcelona.
She is a contributor of KLIMT02 and Art Jewellery Forum, both worldwide platforms for contemporary jewellery; she joined the AJF Ambassador Program for contemporary jewellery in Italy; since 2009 she has been an active member of AGC the Italian Association for Contemporary Jewellery. She is a passionate collector of contemporary jewellery.
She is the founder of “The Blue Room – Hub for Brilliant Conversations”, a new curatorial space for arts and artists.
