#23, WORKSHOP WITH MAUD TRAON
HOME SWEET HOME
SATURDAY MAY 4TH & SUNDAY MAY 5TH, 14-16h
MAISON COMMUNE, 12 rue Dr Michel Provencal, 08600 Cagnes-sur-Mer
Plastic beads, glitter, polymer clay, sponges, aluminum foil, and saturated colors – Maud Traon invites you to play with materials. Using beads as if they were precious stones, she transforms the ordinary by repurposing materials from their initial use. She unlocks creativity with everyday objects, shifting perspectives on daily life.
A practical workshop suitable for both children and adults, where you can mold, sculpt, and transform everyday items into jewelry.
Maud Traon is renowned for her unconventional approach to jewelry design, blending vibrant colors with a unique stone-setting technique. Unlike the traditional method of setting highly polished stones within conventional fixtures, Maud’s pieces embrace the natural structure of the stones. In her creations, glitter is elevated to the same status as precious stones, resulting in jewelry that exudes an enchanting charm reminiscent of a natural wonderland.
After earning her BA at L’Afedap in Paris in 2005, Maud Traon pursued her studies at the Royal College of Art in London, where she currently resides and works. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in public and private collections.
